Beyond the Silence is an ongoing photographic project exploring the relationship between fathers and their queer sons. At its core, the work looks at proximity, distance and the unspoken dynamics that shape family bonds.

Rather than illustrating explicit narratives, the images focus on what remains unsaid: gestures, physical distance, uncertainty and moments of quiet tension. Each portrait is created in a space chosen by the participants themselves, allowing the location to become a silent co-author of the image. The project is less about answers than about the fragile space between acceptance, vulnerability and emotional inheritance.

Open Call – The project continues

Following its first exhibition presentation, the project Beyond the Silence continues and is being expanded through new encounters and portraits.

I am continuing to look for fathers and queer sons – gay, trans, queer, or male-presenting – who are willing to take part in the project and be photographed together. At its core, the project explores proximity, distance, and what often remains unspoken between generations. If you are interested in participating, I would be very happy to hear from you.
